Marketing Coordinator

Location

Any of: Park City, Utah; Irvine, California; Oxford, England

Summary

The role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of AVIAÂ brand and communications activity. The role holder will help to co-ordinate the marketing materials, sales presentations and develop and enforce brand guidelines for all communication activity across all channels including website, conference literature and social media activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Relationship Management Team with presentations and sales materials
  • Assist the Leadership Team with board presentations and AVIAÂ communications
  • Manage the branding activity and develop guidelines on AVIAÂ’s branding both internally with the company use of branding and externally to ensure high standards are met
  • Manage the online presence of AVIAÂ on social media
  • Regularly review and make recommendations of the AVIAÂ website
  • Ensure that all activity has a clear purpose and business need / benefit and measure and report on these on an ongoing basis
  • Support the consistent implementation of company initiatives and ensure these meet the budgets set
  • Assist the Marketing Director with the business marketing strategy

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in marketing or digital communications or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of commercial organisations and marketing strategies
  • Highly energetic and driven – able to work with team and work self-sufficiently
  • Experience of using social media for communication and marketing
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge and experience using pc applications including MS office and Adobe Acrobat
  • An interest in aviation preferred but not essential
  • Travel Requirements: Some travel may be required. Applicants are required to hold a driver’s license and unrestricted passport.

Sales Representative
We are seeking to hire multiple members of our Sales and Business Development team who will manage an individual territory to engage with potential customers, including members (owners, operators, and charter holders) and/or supplier partners.

Key Responsabilities and Accountables

  • Reports to either the Director of Member Sales or the Director of Supplier Sales within the larger Business Development team
  • Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory.
  • Represent AVIAÂ by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of owners, operators, and suppliers in the business aviation industry.
  • Increase territory volume by building and maintaining strong business relationships, develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed territory objectives and goals.
  • Communicate with new customer accounts regarding product updates, changes to product portfolio, new techniques and educational programs.
  • Hand off established customer accounts to customer success team and support continued engagement across those relationships.
  • Maintain an accurate proprietary customer relationship management (CRM) database (SalesForce). Includes forecasting, lead generation and account maintenance.
  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other organizational requirements.

Person/Profile Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years’ previous sales experience, transportation or luxury goods preferred.
  • Business aviation experience a PLUS.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Self-motivated to continuously learn and a proactive coach with innovative ideas to inspire customer loyalty and adoption.
  • A curious problem solver with the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve any issue.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build authentic business relationships and deal effectively with relational challenges to find resolutions.

Customer Success Lead
AVIAA is looking for a creative, driven, entrepreneurial leader to help build our Customer Success strategy. AVIAA connects business aviation owners and operators with a preferred supplier network to streamline purchasing for high quality, well priced services. Reporting to the COO, the Customer Success Lead will be responsible for developing and executing the Customer Success functional strategy. You will manage all aspects of customer support and account management activities, with the goal of building satisfaction, engagement, and loyalty amongst our member base, while simultaneously assessing longer term account potential and supplier engagement with AVIAA.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, process driven, and goal oriented with an entrepreneurial and data-driven approach to problem solving, and a high level of comfort in operations consulting. You have experience working in account management and business aviation operations and are excited to build a new function in a fast-paced environment for a growing company.

Responsibilities Include

  • Work with the COO to develop an account management strategy that will create an exceptional member experience through engagement and drive use of AVIAA’s preferred supplier network.
  • Define relevant KPIs and work closely with Analytics and Finance teams to measure account performance, identify profitable growth opportunities, and measure impact from efforts.
  • Engage members (owners, operators, etc) through a high level of phone and email outreach
  • Travel to member offices and locations to facilitate onboarding and assess ongoing servicing needs and opportunities. Potential travel may be as high as 50%, with higher travel periods during initial customer onboarding and ramp-up.
  • Educate members on products and services
  • Build excitement and knowledge sharing within member community
  • Continuously solicit feedback from members to identify opportunities to grow and improve the AVIAA preferred supplier network
  • Create effective feedback loops with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure member feedback is incorporated into each team’s roadmaps

Data Analyst
AVIAÂ, as a start-up is looking to establish its processes and find a best practice. AVIAÂ’s USP is its ability to provide detailed analysis of each member aircraft in across eight AVIAÂ business segments in a variety of ways. The role of the Data Analyst is to understand the commercial importance of the data and to assist in interpreting and presenting data for various business needs.

Key Responsabillities and Accountables

  • Reports to Director of Analytics
  • Working with the IT department to assist with data capturing processes, analysing and presenting data in a format that can be used by AVIAÂ to identify key contract opportunities.
  • Assist Business Development and Customer Services Teams in interpreting the data
  • Assist with presenting data for reporting to current members and suppliers, negotiation with new members and suppliers, and funders.
  • Assist with various teams to define the best data analysis process to ensure AVIAÂ is the market leader

Person/Profile Qualifications & Experience:

  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential (advance formulas, VBA, pivot tables)
  • Experience with CRM required, Salesforce preferred
  • Experience in an analytical role within a commercial environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • An interest in aviation is desirable but not essential
